Ice skating

Today we took Zoë out for her first time ice skating. She was really excited all day as we went and got skates and a walker for her.

She was able to skate on her own but needed that reassurance to have her mommy or daddy close behind her.

We went on Mckenzie Lake just behind Nana and Pop's house and it didn't take her long to be able to stand on her own...

but was still happier in the comfort of our arms.

Olympic Torch

Erin, my sister-in-law got the opportunity to run with the Olympic torch so we went to cheer her on. They had a small parade of different sponsors just before the olympic torch.

Dreyton went to go play at Grandma's house while we were there.

Our Sunbeam

We started 9am church this week and it was BEAUTIFUL! So nice not to interfer with naps and to have the rest of the afternoon to relax a bit. Zoë is now a sunbeam, she was scared at the beginning but by the end when I came to pick her up she was loving it.

Dreyton got welcomed into senior nursery with some bite wounds, hopefully that doesn't happen again as so far he has been loving nursery.
