Kid's Funny Sayings

09/23/11
when Dreyton needs to go potty he does the wiggles, and i'll ask him if he needs to go and he continuously louder says no.   Then after 5 minutes and not being able to hold it he'll run to the potty and say he's washing his hands.  Little does he know that I know that its not the tap running!

Zoë refuses to eat orange cheese, kraft dinner, or spaghetti but she'll take a huge spoonful of sour cream and eat it.   silly girl.

(very embarrassing moment as a parent)
I was watching Zoë playing soccer while Dreyton was at the park next to the soccer fields.   I heard a few people laughing and pointing so I looked in the direction to the park and saw Dreyton with his pants to his ankles, peeing away on the rocks at the park!   little boys!

Dreyton:  I need to go peepee

Me:   Then go potty, quickly

Dreyton: I already did, in the hole..

Me: What hole?  (as I go in Zoë's room)

Dreyton: that one (pointing to the vent!!!)

Dreyton was being cranky and Zoë said "little boys are always cranky, I want a baby sister. Let's go buy one tomorrow while daddy is at work and surprise him!"

I am always telling Dreyton how cute he is and he goes "Mommy! I am not stinkin' cute!"

the Dora show had ended so I was getting ready to turn it off and Zoë starts whining saying no, more cartoons. I decide they can watch one more quick show and turn it on and Zoë gets a huge grin on her face and says you scared us mommy! phewf!

Zoë was looking suspicious so I asked what was in her mouth and she quickly took a gulp and opened. I asked what she ate and she said I didn't eat the Christmas tree and I didn't eat the table. So I asked again what she ate and she said I just had water, and I asked where did she get the water from. It's just in my mouth all the time mommy (talking about her saliva).

Zoë thinking she needed to poop on the potty but just went pee
"Grandma, my bum isn't working"


Zoë was getting ready for bed at Grandma's house, Grandma decided to keep the lamp on and the door open so she wouldn't get scared in a different place. She came back to check on Zoë a little while later and she was in tears and asked Grandma to turn the light off and close the door so she could go to sleep. She had thought Grandma had forgotten.

Zoë loves to see who's going to win and finish there plate of food first. Daddy was almost done and Zoë says we're going to have to eat daddy so he doesn't finish all of his food and win.

Story from Grandma: "Then theres the xmas eve pj's hidden and then down the stairs come Zoë and Jayden in sort of matching pj's. Zoë's tops matching Jaydens bottoms. They thought they were very funny. I was quite impressed as they not only got them out of the packaging but ripped the tags off as well. Im pretty positive it was entirly Jaydens idea but I am afraid my Zoë is a bit of a follower when it comes to JJ.

Zoë: I can't daddy! it's TOO messy
As we were driving back from the cabin we passed Frank Slide. I was telling Zoë what happened and she said "it's ok mommy, the mighty machines will fix it".

Zoë hears the breakfast sausages making some popping sounds (we wrap them in bread and call them piggy's in a blanket) "mommy the piggy's are singing".

Zoë has been singing this tune for about a year now, we have no clue what it is or where she got it from.
"Ming Ming Groun.." anyone know?

Me: "Zoë, come here so I can brush your hair"
Zoë: That's 2 dollars mommy"

Zoë was throwing her muffin all over the kitchen floor and so I got mad at her and asked what she was doing and she says "I am feeding the spiders mommy".

(Jayden giving a very dirty look to me with her hands crossed)

Jayden: "Auntie take mommy's soap"
Me: "What Jay Jay?"
Jayden: "AUNTIE take MOMMY'S SOAP!"

We figured out she was accusing me of taking Dayna's soap, as my mom had
given both Dayna and me the same soap and it was Dayna's favourite.

Me: "Jay Jay, Grandma gave Auntie Kristy AND Mommy both the same soap"
Jayden: "NO! MOMMY'S soap!"
