Zoë's New Bike

Pampa and Grandma Sefcik brought Jayden and Zoë to Toys R Us and treated them to a new bike. Zoë had a tricycle before hand so she knows how to use the bicycle, just needs some practice once the weather decides to get nice.

It is crazy to see her on a big bike, time flies. She is now fully potty trained except for at night time, we're slowly working on that. It is nice we just have one kid in diapers now.

Zoë is now really getting into pretend play, she loves to have tea parties and take her bunny Flopsy to the park around the house in her play stroller.

She also loves going on play dates with family that come pick her up once in awhile. It is nice for her to get closer to other family members and Dreyton can have one on one time with me as well.

Dreyton, almost 16 months old

Dreyton is such a toddler and growing up SO quickly. His vocabulary is growing quick, some of his most common words are mama, dada, ooee (Zoë), juice, cheese, ball, bath, shoes, eat, book, uh sairs(upstairs), and dank you (thank you). He can point to body parts on his face if you ask them where they are, as well as lots of animal sounds.

Trying on Pampa's shoes, quite funny seeing him try to walk in those big shoes

His red-headed temper, has a COMPLETE meltdown if anybody says NO to him, shakes his whole body and fists in his tantrum.

We went to fish creek park today, just after he threw up all over Arby's (glad it wasn't in my vehicle).

This was taken the other day in Costco, it is such a RARE occurance for him to sleep while we're out.

Stanford Easter Hunt

We had a Easter egg hunt just before our Turkey dinner at the Stanfords today.

Dreyton getting the eggs while Daddy held the basket

Zoë getting as much as she could (we had each child take 20 eggs so it would be equal in the end)

cousins Tighe and Dominique getting there eggs

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny left some baskets hidden around the house for the kids to find this morning.

Getting ready to open there baskets

Zoë not fully awake, I woke her up as it was already 8:30am and she was still sleeping.

They got more presents then candy as they already got a bunch from other Easter activities.

Jenn's Bridal Party

I had Jenn's (my soon to be sister-in-law) bridal party at my house on Saturday. I didn't plan it but I provided the house, there was about 20 people over and it went very well. Dayna watched the kids for a couple of hours and for the last hour of the bridal party they got dropped off and had lots of fun playing with everyone and eating.

Lots of yummy food

More Science Center pics

This isn't at the science center but I had to put this up. Zoë is very orderly, is always lining up her toys and organizing her food. Yes that is bananas on cucumbers... weird girl.

Easter Egg Decorating

We had a family bike ride over to my parents place today to have dinner and decorate Easter eggs.

Great Grandma Sefcik aka G.G. came and helped us do the Easter Eggs.

G.G. was the only one brave enough to help Dreyton do one.

Easter Party

Our community had a Easter Party today. My mom, Dayna, and I took Zoë and Jayden while Dreyton and Drew slept.

Zoë decorating her bag that I think was supposed to carry her other crafts in.

This was a really cute idea, it's a blank puzzle that you can colour or paint your own picture.

About to go hunt for Easter eggs, they were in mid sentence saying Happy Easter.

Science Center

My mom came with the kids and I to the science center this morning. I hadn't been in MANY years, before kids when I was a nanny. It was really fun and I ended up getting a seasons pass as well as a guest pass so i'll be there a lot more now.

The Wacky House where it gets smaller and smaller

each shape makes a different sound, I caught my mother playing by herself in there at one point, quite humerous.

the building center, lots of different objects to build with

The play grocery store, my mother has a major illness (she was cleaning up and organizing the store)

Zoë shopping

this was a black room where your shadow would be reflected on the backscreen after it flashed, looks pretty gross in this picture but it was a very white screen in a very dark room.

Zoë climbing in the big climbing structure

each time you would step on the picture on the floor it would make little ripples of water
