On our way back from the family reunion we found some furniture that Lee and I both loved from costco. Luckily my parents were able to take it back on there truck and we now have some nice couches. It has taken a LONG time for Lee and I to find something we both liked, as we were both very opinionated on what we wanted.

Mckenzie Lake
It's SO nice having older nephews that can help me with Zoë and Dreyton.

Sefcik Family Reunion
We had our family reunion at Bear Lake, UT. It was right next to Utah/Idaho/Wyoming Borders. It was a really neat place we stayed at, about 11 000 sq ft house with tonnes of bedrooms which each had there own bathroom and a card to swipe to get in. There was about 65 people who came to the reunion.
We got embroidered towels (made by my Aunt Sandy) as well as gift baskets and itineraries for when we got there.

The first evening we did a bunch of ice breaker games
Getting ready for tug-a-war
The winning team for the first round
My Uncle Bill and Uncle Kris got these inflatable obstacle courses and slides for free from there client for the family reunion. They were SO fun to have.
Zoë and Merrill on the kid obstacle course
Katya and I racing each other through the adult obstacle course, I lost.
Zoë is fearless, these courses never even scared her a little bit. She had about 5 different people worn out on the inflatables before I had to force her to go to bed.
My parents lounging
Grandma and Grandpa trying the slides out
Zoë and Bailly doing the scavenger hunt together
Lee had fun throwing the younger boys around in the pool.
We had a scary incident happen at the pool. I normally wouldn't put this on the blog but since this is my journal and i'd like it for the future I decided I would. Lee and Zoë were getting out of the pool so he took off her water wings and sent her inside. I came outside looking for them and I noticed Zoë sitting on the stairs of the pool with no water wings on. I quickly got Lee's attention and as soon as he had turned around and started to go get her she jumped in the pool and fell to the bottom. He quickly jumped in and got her and no harm was done. I can't imagine what would have happened if I never came out when I did.
Of course with the Sefcik's there were a tonne of games played in the evenings. It got SO loud in the evenings with all the different games. Zoë and Dreyton were so good going to sleep there, they didn't even stir with all the games and we were the closest bedroom to the game area.

Dreyton had so much fun, he was SO busy and loved to keep me on my toes.

Road trip
On our way to the Sefcik family reunion we spent the first night at Lee's Aunt Jan's house. The kids loved it there playing with there 2nd cousin Treyson on the trampoline and staying up WAY past there bedtime. The 2nd night we stayed at a hotel in Dillon where the kids played lots in the pool. I was very impressed with how they did with so many hours of traveling, it gives me hope for the future.
Zoë taking a ride on Great Grandma Stanford's scooter
If I don't see spits again my entire life I will be satisfied. Lee claims he HAS to have them while driving so he stays awake, pops them in constantly and spits them in a cup that grosses me out the entire trip.
Zoë is a fish, she LOVES the water. These water wings are amazing, I love that they buckle up in the back so they can't just fall off like regular water wings. She can move around anywhere in the pool and she jumps in without Lee or I helping.

Stampede Breakfasts
Here's a few pictures from different stampede breakfasts we went too. Needless to say I am very sick of pancakes and sausages.

A Happy Family
Zoë loves to sing. She knows many songs and sings them constantly throughout the day. In this video she dressed herself, and didn't want the video to stop, so she made a different version of the song at the end by repeating the last sentence twice.

Strawberry Pie
Just realized I have been doing quite a bit of baking lately after seeing some previous blog posts i've already done. It is so fun for me to bake and to try something new and know that I can do it without anybody's help. I had alot of berries in my fridge from the crepe party so I decided to make some pie. I am not a fan of the frozen dough so I decided to make my own. It was super easy to make, I probably won't ever use the frozen dough again.

Birthday Cake
It was my sister-in-law Erin's birthday today, so I decided to make a cake for the family dinner.
I made a 3 layer chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling
Zoë wanted to practice her designs as well.
Final Product, I decided to do a vintage grape cake with leaves bordering the bottom

Calgary Parade
These two little girls got everyone wrapped around there fingers. Dayna called me saying that she wasn't sure about going to the parade last night and so we decided not too ,so I stayed up till midnight until I went to bed. This morning I received a VERY early phone call from her saying that Jayden woke up and jumped out of bed saying she was going to a parade and was going to see princesses. So of course we all got ready very quickly and headed up. It was really good, we had a pancake breakfast with Brook's work and he also got some private bleachers for us to sit at during the parade.
I couldn't believe how good Dreyton was during the parade, he was very antsy to get down just before, but as soon as it started he just sat there watching everything.
