Just realized I have been doing quite a bit of baking lately after seeing some previous blog posts i've already done. It is so fun for me to bake and to try something new and know that I can do it without anybody's help. I had alot of berries in my fridge from the crepe party so I decided to make some pie. I am not a fan of the frozen dough so I decided to make my own. It was super easy to make, I probably won't ever use the frozen dough again.
you are just doing this to tease me arnt you!

ReplyDeleteI love how ry speakes to katya in Russian. Very Cool! Prevee ett Katya!
ReplyDeleteSo impressed. Can't believe anyone makes their own pies. I can barely get dinner on the table every night.
ReplyDeleteYou poor souls! It was Nana who got the first piece, warm straight from the oven and it WAS DELICIOUS! (The empty bit in the photo). Then had to go buy Zoe a treat Tuesday morning so Neil could get a piece too! There may be a vacancy for a father to Lee as his Dad got a giant - LAST - piece. Kristy is making homemade blueberry pie tomorrow. If you're in town you'd better get over there quick! If you're not - hard luck!
ReplyDeleteThat's good lookin' strawberry pie, Kristy. You've sure got some of your granny in ya.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she could help Katya out, Ry. That's a JOKE, keep your granny OUT of the kitchen, she takes over, lol.
Nana S, i'm jealous, you're lucky to have a good pie maker feeding your g-babies. I remember my mom's apple pies, and saskatoon berry pies the best. Rhubarb too.
