A successful leap year

Lee and I both have jobs now. I start Monday taking care of a 20 mos old girl named Emma, Zoë and her loved playing together when she was visiting so I think it will be good to have an additional child so they can entertain each other a bit. Lee also got a job back with coke so he starts that on the weekends.

Of course I didn't bring my camera when I had some good pictures to take. We went to West Edmonton Mall and Zoë is free on some rides so we took her on a few of those. After that we went to a petting zoo in the mall and she loved running around petting all the different animals. She kept going back to the baby pigs to try and pick them up.

After we were finished with West Edmonton Mall we had a ward taco fiesta night which was really fun. There were slushees and tacos galore, Zoë is miss independent running around to different friends and to the nursery, and then would come running back to us to say hi once in awhile. We stayed way past her bedtime so she was happy to hop into bed afterwards.

We then decided to invite some friends over who don't have children as its SO nice just to have the kids in bed and we can have some time without kids to hang out. We played rockband which was quite hilarious. It's a game that comes with two guitars, a drum set and a microphone.

The iciing on the cake for the night was Dreyton slept for 8 1/2 hours straight last night

In Calgary for reading week

I forgot to take some pictures while we were in Calgary. Zoë and cousin Jayden LOVE being together, chasing each other around the house giggling and getting into other sorts of trouble. Lee and I were able to catch up with friends and family that we rarely are able to see which was nice, I was even able to go out on a girls night with Andrea while Lee was at home with the kids.

Private Blog

I have decided to make my blog private for many reasons. If anyone wants to view my blog just put your email address in the comments so I can add you. This is the time for people to come out who dont normally write comments. I will be putting it to private on next Monday

Valentines Day

My husband made my Valentines day awesome. He suprised me at home with everything to make a fondue for the two of us as well as a cake that has become tradition. It's an AMAZING raspberry whipped cake, has pink chocolate shavings on the edges and pink mousse in the inside between cake. He would have gotten me roses as well but since we are going to Calgary today that wouldn't have been such a good idea, he did get me two dozen roses less then two weeks ago anyways just because. Before Zoë went to bed we took her to this play area that we get in for free which she just LOVES, she has the whole temper meltdown when we have to leave. After Zoë was in bed we set up our fondue, it went absolutely perfect. It was really easy to make and quick that I think I will do it a little more often. He also started a blog for me that I put in my blog link, www.myloveforkristy.blogspot.com. He put our story how we started dating and leading up to our engagement on it.

Very Embarrassing!

So today we went to Red Robins as I had a free birthday burger to use up. We had a new guy waiting on us which was nice for us as he gave us our drinks for free because he said he took too long to bring them to us (Lee and I didn't think he took long at all). Anyways after our dinner I wanted a dessert so Lee asked the guy if he could come over so I could order dessert, when Lee asked him he was like oh ya! the birthday sunday I will be right back with that. I was like fine i'll take a free sundae instead so I didn't mention to him that I was going to order another thing off the menu. Zoe was getting anxious to get out so Lee and her went walking while I put on my coat and waited for the dessert. I see my waiter come out with a sparkler on my dessert and 5 of the other waiters coming to my table, I was in shock what was happening and they tried to make me stand up on the booth but I refused. It was SO embarrassing sitting there with them crowded around singing to me all by myself!

It's gone for good

I finally got my tumour removed off my thumb, so I have been having to have this on my thumb. I was able to take it off yesterday, glad to have that behind me. I seem to have bad luck with things pertaining to pregnancy as I also had a gallstone attack less then a year ago because of the changing hormones of pregnancy. I had some gross pictures of my thumb but didn't think anyone would want to see those.

Had both sets of our parents plus Aunty Dayna and cousin Jayden come up for Dreytons baby blessing. Zoë loved every minute, except when everybody left she burst into tears.

Dreyton's hair is starting to get a bit long, so for the time being, it is perfect to do a mohawk with.
