The Cabin

Lee has finally stopped working in the evenings and so we decided to take a very last minute trip to the cabin. We were able to convince Uncle Dave 4 hours before leaving to come from Edmonton, so he met us just before we left Calgary and drove with us. We had lots of fun and no one wanted to come home, but we'll be back in a few weeks again before Lee starts articling.

Trying to blow out Dreyton's first roasted marshmallow

Apparently he didn't like the sight of his own burned marshmallow, he had stuffed another one out of the bag in his mouth.

Zoë seemed to like her smore's

and eventually Dreyton did too

Uncle Dave playing a card game with his great nieces and nephew

Zoë has no fear, she loved riding the sea doos

and she loved jumping in the lake, she could have stayed in there forever

she also loved going on the side by side quad rides, it's great to be able to put them in a car seat and just go.

playing in the kiddy pool in the backyard

My granny making some dinner, if you want to read a funny story click here.

Dreyton wasn't enjoying the quad ride at first but as soon as they started going he loved it

Lee taking the kids out on a paddleboat ride

Lee took Dreyton on a long sea doo ride

Lee's parents and sister and the boys came to visit for a few hours one day.

Of course Lee has to throw his nephews in

I am not sure who plays harder, Lee or the kids

  2. Pics are great, Kristy, love them all! And big thanks for bringing the surprise package to Ashley when I was there, that was such a treat to see my youngest after...how many years? Too many, I'm thinkin'. Of course, I didn't know who he was at first, after all, comparing 180 lbs. to a 98-lb weakling, what do you expect? And it WASN'T because I was sloshed, either. That hard lemo is so watered down! I'm not surprised Jay left it behind, he probably thought he could trick Steve into drinking it. It tastes like rot-gut actually.
