Annie

My mom got Dayna, her and I broadway tickets to the national tour of Annie yesterday, it was SO fun. I have never been to an actual broadway musical before and to be the fourth row from the front was awesome.

  1. Cool...i love broadway shows, when i was in university, i worked at the jubilee auditorium, so i saw a LOT of shows, for free. When the show was on, we were allowed to stand at the back, and watch. I thinked i watched CATS about 10 times. But ANNIE never came to the jube way back then. i imagine it's showing somewhere in edmonton sometime...was it in the calgary jubilee auditorium, or that fancy concert hall downtown, i can't remember the name of it...ours here is the winspear center, i imagine you've seen it on your treks in downtown etown with lee and your kiddies.

  2. Amy and I went to Wicked at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood last month. That was the BEST. What an experience to see Graumann's Chinese theater, the Hollywood walk of stars, the Kodak theater, and the Pantages all in a 2 block area. Wow.

We've taken our kids to Phantom, Cats, Les Miserables...I forget what else, but I love theater too.

  3. Yah, and you took ME to Phantom at the Jube in Edmonton too, Linda! That was the first live show for me, and it was awesome! I think I dragged Dad to CATS too, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Phantom. And one time Deb and Steve took me to a Stage West production, dinner and show type of thing....it was Fiddler on the Roof, I think! Is that right, Debbie? I'd forgotten about that fantastic job you had ushering at the auditorium when you were in university, Jeff! Way to go, get to see all the shows FREE!

  4. My family loves the lion king. We hope to see it when it comes to Alberta in July. I know it's playing in Edmonton, but not too sure if it's here or not. Depending on the cost of the ticket, if it's not here, then my family is making the trek up north.
