Valentines Day

Tonight we had Jenn and Jesse over for a fondue, it was really nice just to have 4 people as we usually do it with a tonne more people. For dessert we made banana splits instead of the traditional chocolate fondue which was really good, i haven't had it in forever. It is so nice to have friends (family) that don't have kids yet so we can get together in the evenings while the kids are sleeping without worrying about babysitters.

I found this picture going through my camera which I thought was cute, Pops chillin' with his grandbabies

  1. Wow, what a beautifully set table arrangement. Looks awesome. Are those rectangular things at each end of the table, grills for the meats? I've never seen those before. When i was little, we just used a deep fryer. didn't have grills like that then.

  3. we definetely dare very serious when it comes to fondue, everything has to be perfect. they're called marble slabs, we use them for the meats and shrimp and then we use the oil just for the battered foods. It makes it so much healthier then just using the oil for everything and you don't feel so gross afterwards.
